The Female Returned Migrants Network is a survivor-led association. It was founded in 2019 by a survivor who saw the need to support other survivors as well as educate vulnerable groups, especially women and girls in grassroots.

We have more than 100 active members in various states in Nigeria.

As of August 2022, over 50 beneficiaries have benefitted from MHPSS counselling and trainings.  The association has reached out to over 350 hundred girls in four schools and 300 women in four communities since inception.

For referrals for trainings, reintegration and empowerment programs for women and girls, we have over 30 women and 5 girls who have been empowered with skills in fashion, catering, ICT and business start-up.

Description of services:
  • Mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) for traumatized female returned migrants

  • Awareness raising activities (Digital and on the ground)

  • Empowerment programs

  • Referrals
