SaHMA
Safe Home for Migrants Association

SaHMA is a women-led non-profit organization that seeks to address irregular migration and human trafficking through capacity building, advocacy, empowerment and reintegration.

Our strategy is to identify issues that hinder progress in stopping the trafficking of persons particularly young people from The Gambia. This includes identifying issues such as limited awareness of youth and their parents on what is trafficking, inadequate legal action to ensure the proper address of victims of trafficking and inadequate employment opportunities available for young people in The Gambia.
